Lighter's deployment on Robinhood Chain — the same exchange engine and API as Lighter, running as a separate venue with its own accounts, collateral and markets.

Separate account from Lighter. Your Lighter (mainnet) account, API keys, volume quota and rate limits do not carry over. You need an account funded with USDG on Robinhood Chain, and you connect it in Spreadr as its own venue. Premium tier is required for maker legs, exactly as on Lighter.
Account setup
Open and fund an account
Visit robinhoodchain.lighter.xyz (opens in a new tab), connect your L1 wallet, and deposit USDG (Robinhood Chain). Perps and tokenized-stock trading through this deployment follows Lighter's own eligibility rules; the Robinhood Wallet app additionally excludes residents of the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, the UAE and Singapore — check your own eligibility before funding.
Connect in Spreadr
In the terminal: Settings → Wallets, pick your wallet, then + Lighter [RH] → Connect Lighter [RH]. Spreadr discovers your account index on this deployment, generates the signing keypair in your browser, and registers it — you sign 2 messages: key authorization and the credential vault unlock. (No fee-authorization message: there is no Spreadr integrator on this deployment yet.)
Quirks
- Everything account-side is separate. Collateral (USDG), quota, rate limits and the one-maker-trade cap are all per deployment. A wallet connected to Lighter is not connected to Lighter [RH].
- Same symbol, two venues. Spreading a market against itself across the two deployments (e.g. BTC on Lighter vs Lighter [RH]) works, but the maker leg cannot be auto-switched when quota runs low — both legs are quota-constrained — so such trades are rejected until the maker account has quota.
- Equities trade 24/7 here. Tokenized-stock perps quote around the clock; funding and spread behavior can differ from the underlying's market hours.
- Portfolio history is not yet wired for this deployment — equity/PnL and funding charts show Lighter (mainnet) only for now.
- Lighter's other quirks apply unchanged: dedicated sub-account, one maker trade at a time, no second bot on the same key, volume quota. See Lighter.
